About PolyLoop

PolyLoop is building the connecting layer for the circular and sustainable polymer economy, starting with knowledge, growing into a network. This hub is the free, open first piece of it.

The problem we're addressing

The sustainable-plastics world is fragmented. Suppliers, recyclers, technology providers, producers, and buyers are scattered across regions and chemistries, with no shared place to learn the landscape or find each other. Knowledge is buried in journals and jargon; the right supply and the right demand often never meet. PolyLoop exists to close that gap.

Knowledge first, network second

This knowledge base is deliberately free and open. Before you can connect a community, people need a shared, trustworthy understanding of the materials, what they are, where they fit, and where they fall short. That's what these pages provide. They're useful on their own, today, to anyone trying to make sense of bioplastics and sustainable polymers.

The next layer, PolyLoop the networkbuilds on top: a connected, verified directory linking the people across the circular-polymer economy, with the matching intelligence to put the right supply in front of the right demand.

A marketplace, not a producer

PolyLoop doesn't make material. It connects the people who do. That independence is what lets it cover the whole landscape honestly, every polymer type and recovery route, rather than talking up one product.

What we stand for

  • Honesty over hype. We say the quiet parts out loud, cost, performance gaps, the "biodegradable" caveats. Trust is the brand.
  • Clarity over jargon. Technical accuracy, in language a non-specialist can follow.
  • The whole picture. Bioplastics are the entry point, not the boundary, recycled and other sustainable polymers belong here too.
  • Primary sources. Market figures come from the people who actually measure them, not second-hand summaries.
